#FEESMUSTFALL: Through word-of-mouse born frees, 90s babies and millennial kids exercised their democratic rights

FeesMustFall  a student led protest movement that shook South Africa through out the month of  October 2015, in response to an increase in fees at South African universities. A movement that has drawn comparisons to the 1976 Soweto uprising. Through word-of-mouse born frees, 90s babies and millennial kids exercised their democracy by driving the hashtag #feesmustfall into submitting government and universities  to  announce  that there would be no increase in university fees in 2016. Though the the bigger picture is free education. I take a look at its movements on Social Media
